The cheesesteak sandwich that I had here was one of the best I've had in a while. The bread was good, the steak was tender and the peppers were fresh and cut in large chunks. The whole thing was smothered in stretchy, melted cheese. I got the 6 inch version and it was a good quantity of food. The picture I took kind of makes it look small, because you can't tell how much stuff is underneath all that cheese. The fries were okay. The wings were good by pizza place standards, but not as good as what you'd get at a wing place. Some of the wings were slightly crispy, not as much as I'd hoped. Some of the drumettes had tough meat. The sauce was okay. I asked for hot, it wasn't, but it tasted fine. I'll go back sometime later and actually try something Italian on the menu next time.

Cute place loved it!! Clean and neat. Our waitress was really nice and service was great. We only had salads and appetizers but it was all really good. Cant wait to go back and try all the different pasta dishes. I'll let you know how that is next time.

Group of 7 stopped in randomly and had a great meal. Yum. Also met Steve-o. A local hero and great guy. Try the key lime pie.

Always good, I usually go with the Antipasto salad with Italian dressing. The pizzas are great too.

Sadly they no longer offer the buffet which was one of my favorites. Lunchtime food is just average. It is not nearly as good as it was a year ago.

The ambiance is definitely hole-in-the-wall, but the food is quite good "Italian" and wood-fired pizza. The staff and owner are very friendly and nice and the prices are reasonable. If we lived in the area, this would be a definite go-to place!

I rode by this place while on my road bike in Buckner. I had never heard of it so I came back to check it out with my girlfriend. It's kind of a hole in the wall, but I like that. The food was good, both had pasta dishes, but the dessert was amazing. We had the cannoli and fried zeppoli, and oh my was it good. We'll definitely be back.

Great NY style pizza I'm a regular take out customer...it's very rare in Kentucky to find some good New York style pizza...but Steve-o's does it. Their pizza is very thin and crispy, with a great crust. I always order the pepperoni and banana pepper pizza. They also have sandwiches which are good...but the real winner here is their pizza. theholstory.blogspot.com

Wow, the cheesy garlic rolls are amazing, a must try! And trust me when I say if you try nothing else, try the white pizza with chicken, it's packed full of Alfredo flavor! This is definitely my favorite restaurant in the area! Oh and for those vegetarians out there, the Eggplant Parmesan is the best I have ever had! The atmosphere is very relaxed, and family friendly. The staff is courteous and attentive. But most importantly, the food is so good it's addicting. The diverse menu makes this restaurant one that everyone in the family can enjoy!

First visit tonight. Very casual with wooden benches and tables, almost a "dive" bar/restaurant feel to it. My boys got a small thin cheese pizza. Nice amount of cheese on the slice, and had a sweet sauce. Garlic bread and salad was nice with our entrees. Portions felt slightly small for the price (as compared to other restaurants). We had a coupon so price was fair, but based on atmosphere and portion, would never return to pay full price.

Best PIZZA. The Italian sausage and Wisconsin cheese make the pizza. And IF there is any to take home, it re-heats and tastes just as good as in the restaurant. We've had their lasagna and chicken parm - excellent. Steve-O comes around and talks to his customers. GREAT!!!

It's out of the way on 146 in Oldham county, but it's worth the trip. The pizza is phenomenal. I've have had only a couple pizza's as good as theirs. They have thin or thick, I had both. The thin is NY style fold and eat you choose the toppings and it's made to order. The thick is no deep dish, it's more of a hand tossed Dominos or Papa Johns style, but homeade and very good. They served Garlic Parmesean rolls to hold you over while the pizza is cooked, which does take a little while. The service was very good and cost was very low. We fed five adults and two kids on 2 Extra larges with 2 toppings each and the bill was $32 before the tip. I will return within the next week, that's how good it was.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
